Tata Nexon AMT To Launch At Auto Expo 2018

    Tata Nexon is all set for its India launch at Auto Expo 2018 in both petrol and diesel engine variants. Nexon is one of the best we have seen from Tata Motors in a long time and apparently this new model of Nexon will surely do wonders and make its public debut at the Auto Expo 2018.

    Exterior

    Due to heavy competition, Tata has left no chance in making Nexon a perfect package. On the outside the car comes with stylish headlamps, LED daytime running lights, roof rails, LED tail lamps, the fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, side cladding with some chrome accents. Tata says that some of its design and styling cues have been taken from the Range Rover Evoque. It has all the design elements of a modern Tata car and most of the bodywork is camouflaged.

    Interior

    Nexon offers quality interior; the dashboard features a very Audi-like floating touch screen. It has nice contoured upholstery with fabric seat covers, a three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls for audio and telephony, a floating HD display from Harman for infotainment with Apple Car Play and Android Auto along with up to 8 speakers and more. Other features include multiple cubby holes and cup holders, an umbrella holder in the front door, glove box with utility moulding, dual air bags, a central console with front armrest and sliding tambour door, 60:40 split rear seats and more.

    Engine Details

    It has two new turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, 1.2-litre RevoTron turbo (petrol), 1.5-litre RevoTorq turbo diesel (Diesel). The petrol engine generates the power of 108 BHP along with the torque of 170 Nm. The Diesel engine generates the power of 108 BHP along with the torque of 260 Nm. Both the motors come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

    The starting 5.85 Lakh INR and the premium car would cost you a 9.45 Lakh INR.

    Expected Launch Date

    The company had earlier announced that official bookings for the car will start from September 11. It is going to be showcased at Auto Expo 2018 for its public debut and the company is planning to launch the car on September 21.
