Seems like Honda has planned well for making a huge blast in the New Year, the reason is its bulk of new launches which are going to happen in 2014. While Honda has already declared the launch of new Honda City in January, three more cars are in queue and expected to be unveiled in Auto Expo 2014 and would launch later in mid-2014, these cars are Mobilio, next-gen Jazz and Vezel. While Mobilio is a MPV, the Jazz falls under the hatchback category and the Vezel is a SUV.

The price range of all the cars is not disclosed yet but expected to be launched at quite competitive price to make a tough fight for their rivals. The expected price tag of these cars is 6.5-9.0 lakhs (Honda Mobilio), 5.5-8.5 lakhs (Honda Jazz), and 6.5-10 lakhs (Honda Vezel).

In Indian car market, the Honda Mobilio’s main rivals are Maruti Ertiga, Nissan Evalia while Honda Jazz’s would compete with Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, VW Polo and competitors of new Vezel are Renault’s Duster, Ford’s EcoSport etc.

Engine details:

Reportedly, the MPV Mobilio is expected to power by the 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel engine (same as Amaze & all new City), also the petrol engine option is expected to available as well.

And in hatchback next-gen Jazz, 1.5 liter diesel as well as 1.2 liter petrol engine is going to be equipped.

While in SUV Vezel, company is planning to borrow the City’s petrol engine i.e. 1.5 liter direct injection petrol, and Amaze’s 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel engine. These details are just tentative though and can be changed by its launch.
