BMW has launched 2019 Z4 Roadster in India, offering two variants: sDrive20i and M40i. It is offering its ‘Sport Line’ and ‘M Sport’ packages with the sDrive20i variant. The two models differ in terms of looks and dynamics. The car was first unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August 2018 and  is offered in India via the CBU (completely built-up) route. Check out its features below:

Engine:

The sDrive20i model sports a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 197PS of max power and 320Nm of peak torque which can propel it from 0-100kmph in 6.6 seconds. The M40i variant has a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged inline-six petrol engine underneath its long bonnet. It puts out 340PS of max power and 500Nm of peak torque and can push the Z4 from 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds. Power is fed to the rear wheels of both variants by an 8-speed Steptronic unit.

Design:

The shape of the new, sixth-generation Z4 looks similar to the older model, but the German carmaker has improved up to the overall styling by introducing various cuts and slashes in the design.

The kidney grille has also been broadened and is now available in a black finish apart from the usual chrome. The sDrive20i variant offers standard 17-inches alloy wheels though it also offers a choice between 18- and 19-inch ones. The top-spec M40i variant, on the other hand, is offered with 19-inch alloys.
