    India’s biggest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has recently launched Ciaz and now planning its second launch of the month with Alto K10 AMT on 21st October 2014, which will take this year Launch tally of Maruti to three. K10 were earlier scheduled to be launched in January 2015 but we guess it has been rescheduled to be launch later this month may be due to utilize the ongoing festive season. Maruti alto K10 will be launched in AMT and CNG variants.

    Maruti Alto has been one of the most successful series in India and for Maruti alto has played a vital role in upping the sales figures of it. Maruti has been launched in 2010 and celebrated its fourth anniversary last month. New K10 will be available in four variants which are LX, LXi, VXi and VXi (O).

    Maruti K10 AMT will contain same engine of Celerio which will produce 67BHP power and 90nm power which will mated to 5 speed automatic transmission. Due to Celerio based engine the fuel efficiency of K10 will get improved from 20 KPL to 23.1 KPL.

    There is long list of additions and changes in K10 AMT starting with upgraded dashboard, new set of controls, modernized upholstery, A/C with heater, driver side manual rear view mirrors, central locking, front power windows, rear parcel tray, I-cats security system, power steering and front speakers in top variants.

    From the outside new K10 AMT and K10 CNG will get new radiator front grille with chrome line, body painted outside rear view mirrors and door handles, 13 inch wheels, new tail lights, new set of rear bumpers, door protection mouldings, apart from these changes K10 will get a company fitted CNG kit for the CNG variant.

    Price of K10 will be around 3.1 to 3.8 lakhs and K10 AMT will take on Datsun go and Hyundai Eon. At this price range K10 might become the most affordable AMT hatchback of the country but the question is, it will also get the hindrance of limited supply problem like Celerio?
