Nissan Micra CVT price slashed; now starts at Rs. 5.99 lakh

With competition getting stiffer Nissan India is pulling its socks and hence announced the revision of prices of Micra’s CVT variants. The Micra XL CVT variant is now starts at Rs. 5.99 lakh while the XV CVT is available for Rs. 6.73 lakh both prices are of ex-showroom Delhi. Another reason of price dropped could be the increased localization levels and they decided to pass the benefit to the customers.

The Micra automatic comes with X-tronic CVT gearbox which not offers the practicality of an automatic but also fuel efficient and it is more fun to drive as it offers smoother acceleration. Under the hood is a 1.2l 3-cylinder petrol engine that is good for 74bhp power and 104Nm of torque@4000rpm. It also features with a 1.5l diesel engine that churns out 62bhp power and 160Nm of torque.

The Micra hatchback has follow me headlamps, 15 inch alloy wheels for better handling, rear LED tail lamps. In terms of features it is loaded with start/stop button, automatic air conditioning, steering mounted audio controls and much more. In terms of safety it has dual SRS airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD) with brake assist, rear parking sensors, engine immobilizer, seat belt pretensioners etc.
