Hyundai Elantra was launched in 2016 in India and the sedan did well in the market, considering the category it competes with. Now to keep the competition up the company has added more features to the top-end Elantra. The new features are being added only to the top-spec model and that too only for the automatic transmission equipped variant. Check out the list of added features below:
The car now has front parking sensors, emergency stop signal, wireless mobile charging, and a sliding front armrest and Hyundai auto link connectivity. The price increase in the petrol model is INR 68,000 and for the diesel engine, it is INR 72000.
Currently the Elantra is available with a 152hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine, and a 128hp, 1.6-litre diesel engine, both of which come with the option of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Other than this the company has updated the equipped list of Elantra SX also too. The car now comes with safety features like an electronic stability program, vehicle stability management, and hill hold control. Additional features include an electric sunroof, smart trunk, auto cruise control and Auto-dimming day/night IRVM. Earlier all these features were only available in SX(o) variant.
With the updates, the petrol Elantra salgen.it SX gets a price hike of INR 78,000, while the petrol-automatic and diesel manual variants get a price hike of INR 85,000 and INR 73000 respectively. The updated Elantra is expected to make its Indian debut in 2019
