Skoda has now introduced its Skoda Rapid Onyx Edition for the Indian markets. The car will be offered in two color options- Lapiz Blue and Candy White along with many cosmetic updates.Checkout its detailed features that it comes with.
Exterior and Interior
The Rapid Onyx edition now has black design elements including black finished butterfly grille with chrome surrounds. The car also includes gloss black finished 16-inch alloy wheels with identical bolt covers and outside rear view mirrors with gloss black finished B-pillars, body side molding and trunk lip garnish. Coming inside to the cabin, there are no design changes but has dual-tone ebony-sand interiors. This time the seats are beige in color with wood design leatherette upholstery. Not only this, there is also a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel with black stitching, textile mats with black stitching and chrome elements all around the cabin. The 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartlink tech allows you to select apps and even supports USB, AUX and Bluetooth options. The vehicle’s system is also compatible with mirror link, apple carplay and android auto. The Rapid Onyx edition also gets auto climate control, 12 volt power socket at the front and back and black waste bin for the front door pocket.
Engine Details
It’s the same 1.5-litre diesel with 108 bhp and 1.6-litre petrol engine that churns out 103 bhp. The car is mated to manual and automatic transmission options. The petrol engine gives up to 14.84 kmpl average while diesel gives around 21.72 kmpl average. It also gets 4 year service and roadside assistance as standard.

In India it is priced at 9.75 lakh INR (ex-showroom).
