Maruti Suzuki Celerio is one of the best selling hatchbacks in the segment. It is launched with an updated interior, exterior and safety measures. The new model of the car is a slight more expensive than the previous one and has been launched this festive season to boost its sale. The refreshed Celerio was the first Indian car with the AGS technology and has now come upon with a more appealing look. It is said that 36% of customers have opted for the AGS variant and this is what boosted the sale of the car.

Price

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio facelift comes priced between Rs. 4.15 lakh to Rs. 5.34 lakh. The facelift’s LXi variant is priced at Rs. 4.15 lakh and for the ZXi (O) variant it costs Rs. 5.34 lakh.

Engine Details

Talking of the engine details of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, it gets power from a 1.0-litre K10B three-cylinder petrol engine while it is capable of burning out 67 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and produces 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The car has Disc Front / Drum Rear brakes and also has a five-speed manual gearbox. The CNG engine of the Celerio produces 59 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 78 Nm at 3,500 rpm and is again mated with a 5-speed manual.

Space and Dimension

Talking of the measurements of the Celerio, it measures 3600 mm in length, 1600 mm in width, 1560 mm in height, 2425 mm in wheelbase and has a 35 liters fuel tank capacity. The luggage storing capacity has also been the same as before that is 235 litres of stuff. The new Celerio has a tyre size of 13-inches and for the ZDi models it gets access to 14-inch steel wheels size.

Colors

The colors you can choose for the car’s purchase are Arctic White, Blazing Red, Glistening Grey, Silky silver, Tango Orange, and Torque Blue.

Interior and Exterior

The Celerio is slightly revised as compared to the previous exteriors of the range. The new Celerio gets a twin silver line connecting the headlamps and now projects a more mature body type. The bumpers of the new Maruti Suzuki have been enlarged for a bold look with an all new black door garnish. The fog lamp bezels have been enhanced for a wider look and nice visual appearance of the car. The hatchback has alloy wheel designs that are similar to the previous one while the rear ends have also remained unchanged. The interiors on other hand have been enhanced with a black and new look of the cabin. The new Celerio has a greige seat trims with silver accents, fresh seats and door trim fabric look.

Safety

For safety measures the Celerio has standard driver side airbag and also has a reminder for the driver’s seat belt usage. Passenger airbags and ABS are offered as per demand of the customer.
