Jeep India has finally come up with a new edition of its most affordable SUV named the Jeep Compass Bedrock edition that is available only in limited numbers. This limited edition vehicle is available only with a diesel engine. It is based on the base variant of the Compass – Sport, although it gets both equipment and cosmetic upgrades. It commemorates 25,000 sales milestone and comes just one year after the launch of the SUV in the market. Exterior and Interior
The Jeep Compass Sport trim based SUV comes with black 16-inch alloy wheels, decals on the doors, black roof rails and a ‘Bedrock’ logo on the boot lid. For interiors it gets a 5.0-inch infotainment system that doubles as a screen for the reversing camera and it also gets seat covers and new floor mats.
Engine
It will be available in only one engine option that is a 173hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Safety
For safety the car possesses dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, stability and traction control, four-wheel disc brakes, power adjust and folding wing mirrors, reverse parking camera and an electric parking brake.
Color
The Bedrock edition will be available in three colour options that are Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red.
Price
The SUV is priced at 17.53 lakh INR.
Jeep’s is working on a sub-4m SUV for Indian market. It is also expected to bring the Trail Rated version of the Compass to India with the Renegade facelift as well.
