BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo

German luxury carmaker has launched its diesel variant of its 6 Series Gran Turismo model in India. The car is locally produced and its BMW 630d Gran Turismo diesel is available in two designs. These two are named as Luxury Line and M Sport. It is available at dealerships across the country.

The petrol variant of 6 Series Gran Turismo will also be available in a new design trim from July 2018 onwards. Here we bring you the updated specs of the new diesel variant of the BMW 6 series:

Exterior and Interior

The BMW SUV gets a long bonnet, frameless doors, coupé-style low roofline and large automatic tailgate. The car gets chrome styling in the BMW kidney grille, front bumper, rear apron and tailpipe. It gets a sporty look through ‘M Aerodynamics’ that has black fins for air breathers, a special design for side skirts and rear apron, large front air intakes and M Sport Brake.

Engine

The new variant of the BMW is a 3-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 265 horse power and the car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/hr in just 6.1 seconds.

Safety

The vehicle for safety features gets anti-lock braking system with brake assist, dynamic stability control, dynamic traction control, hill descent control and side-impact protection among others.

Price

The BMW 630d Gran Turismo Luxury Line is priced at 66.5 lakh INR and the BMW 630d Gran Turismo M Sport is priced at 73.7 lakh INR (ex-showroom).
