Honda cars India has silently launched the refreshed VX (O) variants of Amaze sedan and Brio hatchback. Amaze sedan now comes with an all new top variant VX (O) which now sits above the VX trim and is available in both petrol and diesel options. On the other contrary Brio hatchback gets new VX variant which is available in manual and automatic gearboxes. Both the cars get AVN package that features in Mobilio MPV.
Both Amaze and Brio is powered to a 1.2L V-TEC engine which produces 87bhp power@6000rpm and 109Nm of peak torque@4500rpm, while Amaze is available with 1.5L I–DTEC diesel engine which churns 98bhp power@3600rpm and 200Nm torque@1750rpm. Brio hatchback is available with both manual (VX-MT) and automatic transmissions (VX-AT) while Amaze with only Manual gearbox with the fuel efficiency of 25.8 KPL.

Both the cars get Honda’s AVN (Audio-video-navigation) package which features 15.7cm touchscreen display with pre-loaded maps, voice based satellite navigation, entertainment, DVD/CD, USB, AUX-IN, I-pod, bluetooth telephony and connectivity features. Instrument cluster gauges like speedometer gets a fusion of white and blue colors.
New variants of Brio hatchback comes with all black interiors instead of dual tone color theme.
On the outside both cars get electrically folded slimmer ORVMs with turn indicators while Amaze also features with rear defogger on SX and higher variants.
Honda has also announced that they will launch the CNG variant of Amaze compact sedan soon in Indian market which will be a good move by Japanese manufacturer.
