
Toyota is expected to soon launch the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza. The new hatchback model will be offered with some additions and will be available in both G and V trims with manual and automatic transmissions. The new hatchback will have a single 1.2-litre petrol motor with manual and CVT gearboxes.
The petrol engine will produce 83bhp of power and 113Nm of peak torque. As per the exterior it will have the similar front grille with a ‘Toyota’ logo, the overall design, sheet metal quality and interiors will be identical to the Baleno. According to the source the Glanza will have six ‘Toyota’ logos on the exteriors and one on the steering wheel.
Apart from this, it will also offer various additional services to make it different from the Maruti Baleno. It will include extended warranties, exclusive Toyota accessories, a Smartphone App, Toyota Express Service (TOYOTA EM60), body & paint warranty, Toyota QService, Toyota Financial Services and Roadside Assistance.
It is expected that the price of the Toyota Glanza would be slightly higher than that of the Baleno and the car will be available in grey, red, blue, silver, and white.
