Maruti Suzuki unveiled the all-new Alto 800 2019 with new features to serve the new norms set by the government. As per laws, no car in India can be registered without the minimum mandatory features like the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), driver-side airbag, speed warning, rear parking sensors, and driver & passenger seatbelt reminder. Engine:

The Alto 800 will be powered by the same 796cc, three-cylinder petrol engine and will generates a maximum power of 48 Bhp at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm at 3,900 rpm.

Exterior:

On the design part, the front-end of the car will get blacked out grille with chrome Suzuki logo. The grille will now extends to join the headlamps together. The design of the radiator grille will also be updated with hexagonal design.

The bumper also gets updated with different fog lamps, though the shape of the headlamps remains the same. From the side, it is just like before and will now come with black steel rims. The 2019 Alto will the same from the rear as well with clear lens tail lamps. It has dual parking sensors integrated to the bumper itself.

Interior:

The new 2019 Alto 800 will be equipped with a dual-tone dashboard and door panels. The central console of the Alto 800 VXi has been redesigned also and the front power windows are located in a different way but the position remains in the middle. The shape of the instrument cluster has been updated too. The steering wheel also remains the same and gets a standard infotainment system with FM, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX-in support. The new Alto 800 offers dual front airbags.

Price:

The Alto is the best-selling car in the market and has been on sale for a long time now. The price of the Alto 800 starts at INR 2.63 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
