Mahindra has launched the TUV 300 facelift in India, it was first launched in 2015 September and this is the first major update that the sub-4-meter Mahindra has received till date. The updates have been added to the five variants and a few color combinations that add a dual tone paint scheme to the SUV.

Moving forward to the changes, the major changes are done in the cosmetic section. Starting with the front, the company has reworked the front grille, which now comes with a piano black finish. The air dam has a honeycomb pattern. The headlamps have also been tweaked and now feature LED DRLs and a smoked finish.

Other updates that the car gets include side cladding and an X-shaped spare wheel cover. The tail lamps now feature a clear lens cover. The gunmetal finished alloy wheels are borrowed from the earlier variant. Safety features offered by the car are the same as the previous one, which means the TUV300 continues to come equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchors on all variants.

Engine:

Under the hood, the engine remains the same 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 100PS of power and 240Nm of peak torque. Though, Mahindra is now offering the sub-4 meter SUV with just the manual transmission. This engine also used to be available in a lower state of tune (84PS/230Nm) before, which was also offered with an optional AMT gearbox. However, these options have been discontinued.
