Ford is preparing to launch the facelift Figo hatchback and its cross version this year. The upcoming Ford Aspire car will get cosmetic updates and quite a few new features inside the cabin. Also one of the big changes will be the introduction of Dragon series petrol engines that come with enhanced performance and better fuel efficiency. It will be difficult for the car to make a place in auto car market due to the presence of the models like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, and Honda Amaze. Before the car gets launched, take a look at its specifications:
Exterior:
There will be sharper and sleeker swept back headlamps incorporating projector lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. The front grille will also get a tweaked appearance and it would sport chrome garnished horizontal slats. It will also have a revised front bumper that would enhance the compact sedan’s visual appeal. On the side profile, the compact sedan could boast new design alloy wheels and Chrome finished door handles that would enhance its look. Rear profile of the car may also get some changes like new taillight and updated chunky muscular looking bumper. In all the basic outline will remain same, but little design updates will increase the facelifted compact sedan’s visual appeal.
Interior:
The interior will also receive some changes. These changes may include a new touchscreen infotainment system, an attractive dashboard design and improved quality seats. However, the spacious cabin and dimensional figures will remain the same. All in all the little changes will make the car more attractive and stylish.
Safety:
The facelifted Ford Aspire will have some safety features. The car will have six airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensor, seatbelt warning, speed sensing door lock, reverse parking camera and engine immobilizer etc.
Engine:
The facelifted Ford Aspire will have Dragon series petrol engines that will make its debut in the country. So, this version of the Ford Aspire will contain a new 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Dragon family. The new 1.2-litre and 1.5-litre engines will replace the current Sigma engines running in the present Aspire sedan. Whereas, the diesel model could come with the present 1.5-litre TDCi
