Among the several SUVs of India, Audi’s luxury SUV Q7 has its own and unique place among Indian hearts. Price:

This luxury Audi model has two variants which carry the price tags of 61.1 lakhs and 82.8 lakhs respectively. Though, this price range is quite high in the comparison to other same segment SUVs but still does justice with its premium luxury nature.

Engine details:

By offering two diesel variants, the Audi’s model assures of its powerful capacity and ability. These two variants are named as Audi Q7 3.0 V6 TDI Quattro and Audi Q7 4.2 V8 TDI Quattro. While the first diesel variant has 2967cc, 3.0 liter V6 engine, the other has 4134cc, 4.2 liter V8 engine which developing the max power of 241bhp and 335bhp respectively, along with the impressive produced torque of 550Nm (in V6 model) and 800Nm (in V8 model). Its masculine engine is mated with the automatic transmission of 8-speed tiptronic which gives this SUV a smooth experience of driving.

As per its fuel economy is concerned, the both variants offer the impressive mileage figures (ARAI certified) of 12.07 km/l and 11.33 km/l respectively along with the available fuel tank capacity of 100 liters.

Space & Dimension:

5089mm long, 1983mm wide and 1737mm tall, this Audi Q7 grants a spacious inside and provides 330 liters of luggage space as standard which could be extended to 775 liters after folding the last row of seats. It has three rows including driver’s, middle & rear and thus has the seating capacity for seven passengers. The wheelbase of this SUV is 3002mm while the clear height is 204.8mm in V6 variant and 239.8mm in V8 variant. Also, the minimum turning radius of this huge model is 6 metres which could be improved though.

Interior:

As mentioned above, it has a spacious cabin at inside which carries a color coordinated cockpit interior. The sporty display with leather wrapped seat upholstery and multifunction leather 4-spoke designed steering wheel provokes you to just drive this awesome and luxury car. Its inlays are designed with wood and walnut natural, interior lighting package, dual sun visors, front centre armrest, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, Audi music interface with Audi sound system, Bluetooth interface, radio, CD changer, central control unit with radio remote, adaptive air suspension, manual sunblinds on rear window and rear door window, cruise control, 4-zone deluxe automatic AC, rear view camera, comfort key and probably some more. Some of these mentioned features are available as standard while some could be availed by spending more money.

Exterior:

The aggressive and dynamic roof line along with high shoulder front section reveals its sporty glimpse. The masculine front with chrome framed Audi single-frame grille and V-shaped pointed bonnet creates an excitement in the customer and eager them to drive at least once. It also gets few other exterior premium features like 18”/19” (depending upon variants) alloy wheels, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, Xenon plus headlights with headlight washers, LED rear lights, electrically operated boot lid, panoramic glass sunroof and reinforced bumpers etc.

Safety, Road handling & Performance:

Performance wise, the Q7 is good and satisfies its customers in terms of handling and driving. But sometimes users have to face some problems in the traffic or city roads because of its larger size. But overall, it’s excellent produced torque and power assures you by performing well and gives an amazing strength to the engine.

To provide the driving stability and balance on road, the Audi Q7 is well designed with many safety features like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with ESP (Electronic Stabilization Program) which also takes care of its process of braking. Also, the Traction Control is marking its presence in this SUV to transfer the equal power to all the wheels at the time of accelerating while the Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) assures to increase traction on ground when needed.

The other equipped safety features of this model are full-sized airbags, rear side airbags, tyre pressure monitoring display, engine immobilization, anti-theft alarm with tow-away protection, first aid kit, safety steering column to increase the safety potential of the seat belts n airbags and many more.

It accelerates 0-100 km/h in mere 7.9 seconds with the top speed of 215-218 km/h in V6 model while 6.4 seconds along with the top speed of 242 km/h in its V8 model.
