Ultra-luxury carmaker Bentley Motors has announced the launch of Bentley Bentayga V8 for the Indian market. The Bentley model is now available in SUV that is the Bentayga V8. Bentley also sells models like Continental GT and Flying Spur in the country and is here with the new V8. Have a look at the detailed specs of the luxury car.
Engine Details
The all new V8 is a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that combines power with fuel efficiency. The car also has added features like V8 burble, twin-quad exhaust pipes and optional carbon-ceramic brakes. The engine produces 549hp and 770Nm of torque that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels. The Bentayga takes up from 0-100kph in just 4.5sec.
Exterior and Interior
On the outside the V8 stays largely identical to the top-of-the-line W12. It has a fuel-saving cylinder deactivation technology, that shuts off one bank of cylinders at low speeds. The SUV also has option of equipping the Bentayga V8 with carbon ceramic brakes. The car runs on 21-inch wheels, and buyers can opt for smaller wheels (20-inch) or bigger ones (22-inch) as well. The car has gloss carbon-fibre trim finish for the doors with centre console. The new three-spoke, wood and hide trimmed wheel has a solid wood base that maintains the integrity and authenticity of interior features of the luxury car.
Price
The V8 will cost you 34 lakh INR less than the W12 variant and will rival soon-to-be-launched 2018 Range Rover SUV facelift and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. In India the car is priced at 3.78 crore INR (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for a standard model.
