In a verge to neutralize the buzz of all new Honda Jazz, the German car major has silently updated the features of its hatchback Polo and launched it at a starting price of Rs. 5.23 lakh. Unlike Hyundai which deleted some features from Elite i20 though later backed it by equipping a touchscreen AVN infotainment system, VW has added some equipments to 2015 Polo. New add-ons are also available with Polo GT TDI and GT TSI.

However the changes are not extensive one but are indeed valuable. The 2015 Polo gets a cruise control on the highline variant which is a segment first feature because Elite i20 and even new Jazz doesn’t feature Cruise control. Besides cruise control new Polo to come with new cooled glove box, black matte finish electric foldable ORVMs with turn blinkers, multi function steering wheel with bluetooth and voice command as new features. The aforementioned features are available across all variants of the new Volkswagen Polo.

These features have been carried forward from new Vento sedan, which was launched in June 2015. Standard features that new Polo will carry from the outgoing model are speed sensing electric power steering, leather treatment for steering and gear knob, automatic climate control, 4-speaker audio system which supports USB, SD card, Aux-in along with rear parking sensors to name a few.

However, the addition of more safety features and touchscreen infotainment system would certainly up the ante for Volkswagen.
