In 2015 car makers have been seeing green in their ledger for some time now and this month will see many new car launches in different segment from different carmakers. Till now, we saw car launches such as Renault Lodgy, Tata Bolt, Hyundai i20 active, new Verna, Swift Dzire, BMW i8 and many more. In May 2015 we will witness some exciting car launches and here’s the list of new car launches in the month of May.
1. Tata GenX Nano-
Tata is gearing up for the launch of GenX Nano as the dealers have started accepting bookings with the booking amount of Rs. 5000. Tata will launch new Nano in four trims- XE, XM, XT and XTA; the top most variant will be equipped with AMT gearbox. Apart from AMT gearbox GenX Nano the noticeable changes are openable boot, new design, front fog lamps and Sangria red new color shade. New Nano will not be a lakhtakia car anymore as Tata wants to shed the cheapest car price from Nano.

2. Tata Safari Strome Facelift:
Tata safari Storme was launched in 2012 and due for a facelift version, we have been hearing about the new version since 2013 but still waiting for it to be launched. Tata Safari Storme facelift has been spied many times and lately all the details of the vehicle were leaked online. The facelift will be launched in three trims at the initial price of Rs. 9.99 lakh and will be powered by same 2.2L VARICOR engine that will produce 10PS more power than the current model.

3. Audi RS7 Facelift:
During the launch of 2015 TT coupe, company announced to launch five new cars in the coming five months. So keeping that promise Audi will launch the performance oriented RS7 facelift on 11th May in India. On the outside, new RS7 gets revised single frame grille and air dams, Audi’s LED matrix headlight structure, new tail lamps design with LED light system. The RS7 facelift might also get new paint colors including Floret Silver, Sepang blue Mythos black etc.
The cabin of Audi RS7 facelift will get redesigned instrument cluster with A/C vents controls and steering wheel with paddle shifters are some of changes.
RS7 continues to get power from 4.0LV8 TFSI engine which delivers 560bhp power and 700Nm of torque coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It can accelerate 0-100 km in 3.8 seconds with the top speed of 255 km/hr though the top speed can be increased up to 280 or 305 km/hr via dynamic package.

4. DC Avanti:
We have been waiting for the launch DC Avanti since 2014, every month there are certain rumors about the launch date of DC Avanti India’s first supercar which was unveiled in 2012 and production ready model was showcased at 2014 auto expo. It is powered by 2.0L petrol engine which makes 260bhp power and 360nm of peak torque mated with a six speed manual gearbox and will 0-100 km in 8 seconds. 5. Maruti Suzuki Celerio Diesel:
After the huge success of Celerio AMT, India largest car maker is gearing up for the launch of Celerio Diesel. The Celerio Diesel will the first vehicle to get Maruti’s new 800cc engine which is expected to make 50bhp power and 150NM of torque mated to five speed manual gearbox. Maruti Celerio will not launch AMT at the time of launch but expected to get later. Celerio Diesel will return around 30km/l of mileage and will become the most fuel efficient car in the country. The competition will come from Chevrolet beat diesel and upcoming Tata kite hatchback.
