Toyota Etios Liva with dual tone shades launched in India at Rs 5.94 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar motors launched the Etios Liva hatchback with dual tone colors and subtle cosmetic changes. Available only in V and VX trims, the dual tone Liva is offered in three colors– Super white, Vermilion red and Ultramarine blue. Petrol variants are available in the range of Rs. 6.03 lakh to Rs. 6.49 lakh, the diesel variant cost between Rs. 7.26 lakh to Rs. 7.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Besides dual tone color scheme, new Liva adorns blackened out front grille, fog lamp bezels in chrome, roof mounted spoiler, electrically foldable ORVMs, new 15 inch diamond cut alloy wheels and black glossy finish at roof, pillars and outer rear view mirrors. On the inside, it gets piano black finish at the central console, removable rear headrests, 3D textured seat fabric and adjustable front headrest.

Dual front SRS airbags, advanced Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), ISOFLIX child seats are available as standard across the range. Toyota Etios Liva was presented with 4 stars in Global NCAP crash test adult safety for 2016. There is no change under the hood; it continues to get power from 1.2 litre petrol and 1.4l turbo diesel engines.

The DOHC four-cylinder petrol engine makes 79bhp of max output@5600rpm and 104Nm of high torque@3100rpm while 1364cc D-4D diesel engine delivers 67bhp@3800rpm and 170Nm of high torque@1800rpm. Power is sent to front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
