Apart from launching new Innova Toyota has launched a new variant of its popular SUV Fortuner available in the price range of 26.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Prior to this Toyota India use to sell 2WD MT, 2WD AT and 4WD MT but Toyota adds new top variant in the form of 4WD AT which takes the total number of variants up to four. Toyota is also working on new 2.5L MT variant which is spotted testing many times on Indian roads and might get launch this year.
The 4×4 AT variant is powered to a same 3.0L D-4D turbocharged diesel engine developing 168bhp power@3600rpm and 343Nm torque @1400-2400rpm coupled to a 5 speed automatic transmission.

This seven seater SUV dimensionally remains unaltered with 4705mm length, 1840mm wide and 1850mm width, with the wheelbase of 2750mm it remains one of the spacious and power house SUV in the country.
