Tata motors today launched the top line variant of its dynamic car in premium hatchback segment and named it as Tata Vista VX Tech. As per the company, this new model has been designed for the smart, trendy, tech savvy and thrill-seeking customers. Company is also claiming that this new hatchback is based on the advanced technology and equipped with many advanced features too. Let’s see what this new model gets.
Price:
Its variants are divided according to the engine fuel availability as well as premium features. While the base model is priced at 4.94 lakhs, this new top-end variant VXTech has the price tag of 5.99 lakhs.
Engine details:
It is armed with the diesel fuel. This diesel fuel has two units which are 1405cc BS3 TDi and 1248cc BS4 Quadrajet. While the TDI diesel engine churns out the max power of 70bhp, the Quadrajet diesel develops 74bhp and 88.8bhp of max power in two different variants.
The LS trim has two diesel engine options which are 1405cc, BS3 TDi and 1248cc Quadrajet 74bhp BS4.
The LX trim is only available with 1405cc, BS3 TDi diesel engine.
While the top-end variant VX is offered in 1248cc Quadrajet 74bhp BS4 only.
All the variants are mated with 5-speed manual transmission gearbox.
The ARAI certified mileage is said to be 21.12 km/l which is quite impressive though.
Space & Dimension:
It’s a five seater hatchback which carries the overall dimension of 3795mm x 1695mm x 1550mm along with the wheelbase of 2470mm, clear height of 165mm and boot space of 232 liters. Its fuel tank capacity is 37 liters (in TDi, Quadrajet75) and 44 liters (in Quadrajet 90).
Color options:
It can be availed in six different colors including all new Blue Chill along with Spice Red and Ultra Violet.
Interior & Exterior:
As per its interior and exterior is concerned, it has total three variants namely LS, LX and VX. Its top-end variant is featured with many comfort features like a 6.5” TFT touch-screen based multimedia system which contains radio, CD, video (DVD), USB, Blue-5 (Bluetooth pairing with 5 different mobiles), AUX-IN and advanced GPS navigation system. It also offers power steering wheel having audio controls on it, a Drive Pro Console and an advanced driver information system at the centre console including digital clock, tachometer etc, full fabric seats, chrome-zoned inside door handles and many more.
Road handling:
A new suspension system ‘Duo-Float’ is designed in this Vista Tech to offer it a better handling and drivability on road. It accelerates 0-100km/h in 15.5 seconds.
