After unveiling at 12th Auto Expo in February 2014, Ford India has launched the updated version of Fiesta sedan in India today i.e. 19th June 2014. While the price range gets a little hike with this renovation, its mechanical power is remained unchanged. The car gets tweaked interior and exterior features to give it a refreshed 2014 look.
Price:
By having only three trims, this new Fiesta is carrying price range within bracket of 7.69-9.29 lakhs.
Engine details:
As of now, Ford is offering only diesel mill in its 2014 sedan Fiesta. This engine is a 1498cc, 1.5 litre TDCi diesel developing the max power 89.7bhp and 204Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and offering the claimed fuel efficiency of 25.01 km/l. There is no petrol unit is new 2014 Fiesta.
Space & Dimension:
The 2014 Ford Fiesta is carrying new dimension and now it is 4320mm in length, 1764mm in width and 1486mm in height. It carries similar wheelbase, ground clearance and car boot of 2489mm, 156mm and 430 liters respectively and offers seating capacity for five.
Interior & Exterior:
At inside cabin, Ford is offering modified sync facility with Ford AppLink to provide you a hands-free control over your mobile phone, radio, CD, USB, iPOD and climate control. Apart from that, it also gets features like rear defogger, 100% foldable rear seats, cruise control, electrically foldable ORVM, reverse parking sensors, rain sensing wipers, electric power assisted steering, audio system with CD, Aux-In & USB, 6 speakers, footwell lamps, keyless entry & go and an advanced MID etc.
At outside, new 2014 Fiesta has come with company’s Kinetic 2.0 design philosophy which includes foxy eyes headlamps, chrome/black radiator grille & surround, body colored front bumpers, fog lamps, full wheel covers, alloy wheels in top-end trim, auto headlamps etc.
The 2014 Ford Fiesta is available in six color options including Golden Bronze and Paprica Red etc.
Safety:
On the name of safety, Fiesta is equipped with ABS (antilock braking system), EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), child lock, front dual airbags, immobilizer etc.
