Ford India today launched the facelift muscular version of its Endeavour SUV which is featuring new styling and new interior features. Company has recently displayed the predecessor model of this trendy SUV at 12th Auto Expo but it was also being rumored that Endeavour is going under updation process to get a refreshed 2014 look. And in this process, today i.e. 29th April 2014, this facelift Endeavour has made its debut in India.
Price:
The 2014 Endeavour is having three variants which are priced as 19.83 lakhs (2.5 liter 4×2 MT), 21.28 lakhs (3.0 liter 4×2 AT) and 23.06 lakhs (3.0 liter 4×4 AT).
Engine details:
As mentioned above, there are three diesel variants in this SUV. The 2014 Endeavour is powered by similar 3.0 liter, 16 valves, TDCi diesel engine developing the max power of 153.8bhp and 380Nm of peak torque.
This engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox and has both 4×2 and 4×4 wheel drive system, customers can choose as per their choice. Its 4×4 automatic transmission features an electric Shift-on-Fly system for selection of 2WD or 4WD.
The other engine equipped in this is a 2.5 liter TDCi diesel unit responsible to produced 141.04bhp of max power and 330Nm of peak torque. This engine is geared up with 5-speed manual transmission and having only 4×2 wheel drive system.
The ARAI certified mileage of this trendy SUV is 12.67 km/l.
Space & Dimension:
The 2014 Endeavour offers seating capacity for seven passengers. It is 5062mm in length, 1788mm in width and 1826mm in height along with wheelbase of 2860mm and clear height of 210mm.
Interior & Exterior:
In this new updated version, new leather seats, touch STANAV entertainment system, Bluetooth compatibility, reverse parking camera, cruise control etc are marking their warm presence.
At outside, it is designed with restyled radiator grille, modified headlamps, new front bumper with skid plate, new fog lamp bezels and redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels etc. Further, to improve visibility for the driver regarding car’s safety, a blind spot mirror on the passenger side has been added in it.
