New GEN Audi TT Coupe to Launch in India on 23rd April 2015

The 2015 Audi TT have been spotted testing many times in the various states of Maharashtra and now the word is out that Audi India will be launching new GEN TT coupe on 23 April 2015. The 2015 Audi TT was revealed at Geneva motor show 2014 and it is already on sale in international markets.

The iconic Sports car TT coupe will be available only under 45 TSI variant which is powered with the same 2.0L TFSI that churns out 230bhp power and 370Nm of peak torque paired to a 6 speed DSG gearbox and power is sent to all wheels via Audi’s Quattro all wheel drive system. The 2.0L TFSI engine makes 0-100km mark in 5.3 seconds and hits the top speed of 253 km/hr.

Internationally, Audi sells more powerful TTS variant that makes 310PS power and 380Nm torque will be not offer. New Audi TT is based on MQB (Modular transverse Matrix) platform and manages to lose 50-60 kg despite of extended wheelbase.

New Audi TT retains some of the design cues of previous model and shares some new features with Audi R8. New Audi TT gets a trapezoidal conventional grille; sleek matrix LED headlights, big flared wheel arches, redesigned bumper and slightly revised tail lights.

The cabin of 2015 Audi TT looks even better than its exterior which is stuffed with new gadgets and premium interiors. Audi TT now sports an all new instrument console, 12.3 inch screen at instrument cluster with digital 30 GPU, new multi function flat bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, new MMI system with Bang and Olufsen 12 speaker system, jet turbine inspired air con vents. There is no stand up display available for new Audi T coupe.

In terms of Pricing 2015 Audi TT will serve in niche segment in Indian market and we are expecting the new TT to be priced between Rs. 55-60 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be brought via CBU (Completely built-up unit) from Audi’s plant at Hungary.
