Having launched 2017 Range Rover Evoque with new Ingenium diesel engine a week before the New Year, the Indian arm of British Marquee JLR has launched petrol variant of the same. The 2017 Range Rover Evoque petrol mill sets you back at Rs. 53.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Presently, Range Rove Evoque sold in Indian market with a diesel engine but now buyers can also opt for a petrol version which is available with SE variant.

The premium SUV utilizes a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine that makes 237bhp of max output@5500rpm and 340Nm of torque@1700rpm. Powering all four wheels, the engine is linked to a nine speed automatic gearbox. It can make 0-100km sprint in just 7.6 seconds while clocking a top speed of 217 km/hr. It also bundled with JLR’s Terrain response system that allows driver to select modes that includes- Grass, Snow, Sand and Rocks.

The petrol trim comes loaded with features such as Xenon headlamps with LED DRLs and automatic leveling, 8 inch Incontrol infotainment system with navigation and 825W 8-speaker sound system, panoramic sunroof with powered blind, leather wrapped steering wheel with cruise and audio controls, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control with rear ac vents, rear view camera, ambient lighting and much more.

For Safety, it gets 8-airbags, Hill descent control (HDC), dynamic stability control, Child seat ISOFLIX anchor points, ABS with EBD, range rover smart key controls, seatbelt reminder etc.
