After unveiling the new Huracan LP 580-2 at Los Angeles auto show, the Italian supercar maker has apparently launched it in India. Priced at Rs. 2.99 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi), it is based on two wheel version of Huracan Coupe. The USP of new model is that it comes with a RWD setup specially re-engineered to deliver two-wheel drive performance to appeal driving enthusiasts. The supercar has been launched at the Buddha International Circuit (BIS), nation’s only F-One race track.
The car is 33khg lighter than the previous version due to emission of AWD system but it is powered by the same 5.2-liter V10 engine which has been detuned to produce 580 PS as compared to 610 PS of standard Huracan. The RWD version belts out massive 540Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox transmission along with launch control for better acceleration.
