Renault India has launched the 2018 Kwid in India with slight changes. It gets additional features with slight chrome changes. The company is not charging extra for the new car and it is priced same as before. The Kwid is available in five variants that are Standard, RXE, RXL, RXT (O) and Climber. The European brand has also announced the launch of its new KWID 2018 feature loaded range which will be available in both manual and automated transmissions soon.
Exterior and Interior
The features that the new 2018 Renault Kwid comes with include a standard emergency locking retractor (ELR), there is also a creep function due to which there is no need to step on the accelerator to move the car forward in bumper-to-bumper traffic situations. The company calls this feature as ‘Traffic Assist’.

Renault Kwid RXL variant:
- Front power windows
- Remote central locking
- Fog lamps
- Full wheel covers
Renault Kwid RXT (O) variant:
- Chrome on the front grille and the gear knob
- 12V socket for rear passengers
- Rear parking camera
- Renault Kwid Climber
- Rear armrest
Engine Details
The Kwid gets a 1.0-litre engine and AMT same as the Datsun redi-GO.
Price
The price remains unchanged that is starting from 2.67 lakh INR and going up to 4.59 lakh INR (ex-showroom Delhi).
