BMW has launched the M2 competition in India, the car will be available in a single petrol variant only and it will be brought into the country through the CBU route. The booking for the car was already open and this is the first time M2 is being sold in India. Check out the features of the car below:

Engine:

The M2 Competition is powered by a 3 3-liter inline -six engine that makes a 410PS of max power and 550Nm of peak torque. The whole power and torque are channeled to the rear wheels mated through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. This means the M2 Competition can sprint from 0-100kmph is only 4.2 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.

The car has three driving moods: Comfort, Sport+ and Sport, they alter different characteristics of the car like throttle response and the ferocity of the gear shifts.

Features:

The car gets LED headlamps and DRLs, it has also got high beam assistance, a boon on Indian roads. The M2 Competition also has standard rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. The car comes with electronic flaps in its exhaust system that helps in optimizing back pressure for performance and produce a sweet sounding exhaust note as well. The driver and passenger get electronically controlled seats with memory function for the driver’s seat.

The car has automatic climate control with dual zone set up, parking sensors at the front and back, a 205W audio setup and a rearview camera. The car offers 6.5-inch screen BMW’s iDrive infotainment system. The few optional extras are Harman Kardon 360 W, 12 speakers sound system, M sports seats and an 8.8-inch system that includes Apple CarPlay and hosts of BMW apps. BMW M2 Competition has got 109-inch alloy wheels that are specced with 245/265 section Michelin Pilot Sports tyres at the front and back.

Safety:

The M2 competition comes with six airbags, cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, ABS with brake assist and ISOFIX mounts.
