Tata Motors is increasing its SUV portfolio potentially! It has now added another variant to its Nexon compact SUV line-up. This one is the 2018 Tata Nexon XZ that comes with both petrol and diesel engines. Features for the new Nexon XZ were leaked recently and the all-new model gets a price cut over the top-end model. Nevertheless, the Tata Nexon XZ is still loaded with many essentials and here we bring all the updates on the newly launched SUV.
Engine Details
Under the hood, the XZ gets the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engines. The petrol motor is tuned for 108 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel version makes 108 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque. Both engines come paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The SUV also comes with selectable driving modes that are Eco, City and Sport.
Exterior and Interior
The Nexon XZ gets projector headlamps, height adjustable driver’s seat and height adjustable seatbelts. It also has voice alerts, four tweeters, text and Whatsapp readouts, fabric upholstered seats etc. The XZ rides on the same 16-inch tyres with dual-tone wheel covers as before.
Price
The petrol variant is priced at 7.99 lakh INR (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the diesel one is priced at 8.99 lakh INR (ex-showroom, Delhi).
