Hyundai has been on roll after the success of Grand i10, Xcent and now yet again they are proving itself as dominating player in the Indian car industry with the success of recently launched Elite i20 which is facelift version of i20. According to the second largest car manufacturer in India Hyundai they have received over 56,000 bookings in span of four months since its launch on 11th August 2014.

Petrol variant of Elite i20 commands a waiting period around 2.5 months while Hyundai Elite i20 Diesel variant has waiting period of more than 3 months so one can imagine the high demand of new i20. Hyundai is struggling to fulfill the delivery as reason is quite obvious that they didn’t expect that much warm welcome from the buyers.

Reason behind so much demand would be Elite i20’s eye catching design and its excellence in many departments. Hyundai’s conventional design language fluidic sculpture 2.0 has created buzz among the customers and set new design benchmark in the segment which as a result keeps it in the top 10 selling brands in India. The new design of Elite i20 is now more mature and makes it look like a European car especially the rear side.
