Following the Footsteps of other carmakers, Honda Cars India has cut the prices of its lineup by up to 1.31 lakh to pass on the benefits after GST. However, the Japanese carmaker hasn’t revealed the prices of Accord Hybrid as of now, but likely to announce soon. The company has announced massive price cuts for Amaze, CR-V, City, and Brio.
In Delhi, prices will go down in the bracket of Rs. 8000 to Rs. 1.31 lakh while for Mumbai it will range between Rs. 3000 and Rs. 1.04 lakh. All are ex-showroom prices while on-road prices including (Ex-showroom + GST), registration charges and Insurance which is up by 3 percent courtesy GST.
Let’s start with Honda’s bestselling vehicle City sedan which is now affordable by up to Rs. 28,005. The city has recently unlocked a milestone of 2.5 lakh sales unit. The two hatchbacks in the Honda’s range-Brio and Jazz now cheaper by up to Rs. 12,379 and 10,031 respectively. The prices of WR-V have been reduced by 10,064. Honda Amaze’s prices have been slashed by up to Rs. 14,825.
In the SUV segment, the price of BR-V has been axed by up Rs. 30,387 while Honda’s premium SUV CR-V witnessed the highest price cut of Rs. 1.31 lakh. Here is the ex-showroom Delhi of Honda’s lineup Post GST:-

Besides Honda, other auto majors like Maruti Suzuki, Ford, BMW, Audi, and Jaguar Land Rover have already passed on the GST benefits to their customers by slashing across the lineup.
