Kia Motors is all set to come to India at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018. In this event, it will unveil SP Concept along with other 16 models. It has already shared a couple of images of the SP Concept to show its muscle power. Well, there is no official word about the official launch of this car but it is said that this South Korean automobile company will launch its cars in India as soon as possible.
According to a statement by Kia Motors, The SP Concept combines sophisticated beauty, breakthrough technology, and high functionality in an SUV form. Of course, India is one of the world’s largest automotive markets and Kia wants to replicate its global success here. Apart from this, reports reveal that SP concept might come with 1.2-litre petrol engine & 1.5-litre diesel engine. It is anticipated that this car will give tough competition to other cars like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and Tata Nexon.
Kia will showcase its wide range of electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and other cars including Stinger, Rio, Picanto, Stonic, and Forte at the Auto Expo 2018. This company has already announced that it is going to invest USD 1.1 billion to set up its manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh to produce 3 lakh cars per annum. So, it would be exciting to see what Kia will bring to India and for its competitors.
