The Audi Q7 is popular in the country and with the launch of the new creation of Q7 last year, the car has kept itself alive in the race of large luxury vehicles. Audi’s SUV has always missed out on being a powerhouse performance car and this time Audi is back with SQ7 to take on the performance packed luxury SUVs. The high priced premium SQ7 will face competition from German rivals Mercedes and BMW.
Engine Details:
Under the hood, the Audi SQ7 gets a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged diesel engine. This would be the first production car to have an electrically driven turbocharger. The Audi SQ7 develops 435bhp of power and 900Nm of torque. The luxury SUV covers 100kmph in 4.8 seconds. It comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission coupled up with the famed Quattro all-wheel-drive. The presence of compressor wheel in the motor that spins at 70,000 rpm makes the sharp drop in turbo lag at low rpms. Fuel consumption for the diesel engine of the SUV is 7.4 litres per 100 km.
Exterior and Interior:
Exterior wise the car has a front bumper with horizontal slats covering the air intakes and has LED headlamps. The SUVs wind mirror gets painted in contrast with having 20-inch alloys as standard. Flanks get chrome treatment around the window frame of the SUV.
For interiors, the upholstery is done in fancy leather with all comforts available. In terms of space, the SQ7 offers ample room to passengers seated in front and at the back.

For the price of the SQ7, it is sure to be above 1 crore INR.
