Ssangyong Tivoli

The Korean automobile manufacturer owned by Mahindra ‘Ssangyong’ has already launched its Rexton SUV in India. Reports say they are all geared up to launch the Tivoli compact SUV in the near future. It is said to stand up against the Hyundai Creta and the Honda BR-V but is expected to be slightly more expensive than the other two.

Interior and Exterior

The SUV’s exteriors are great. The car has is wide with muscular wheel arches which accidentally makes it resemble the XUV500.

In the interior front, the aluminium finished gear selector combined with gloss black inserts in the dashboard is attractive. The faux carbon fibre look that adorns the door panels gives the Ssangyong Tivoli a sportier look.

Engine Details

In India, the Tivoli SUV will get both petrol and a diesel engine. For the petrol engine, it gets a 1.6-litre motor that makes 128PS of peak power and creates 160Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the diesel engine gets a 1.6-litre motor that creates 116PS of peak power and 300Nm of peak torque. Both the engines of the Tivoli SUV get either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV also offers a front wheel drive or all-wheel drive setup.

Price

The price tag of Ssangyong Tivoli is expected to be between 10-15 lakh INR.
