All new Swift is ready to hit the roads!
Maruti Suzuki India has launched its new generation Swift hatchback. The car is based on company’s new platform which is more rigid and lighter. New-Gen Swift has all new design with modern styling and contemporary looks. There will be eight new variants of the car, four of them with AGS. The bookings of the car are already open from last month. Here are the features of the car.
Exterior:
Maruti has done a superb job with the design of the 2018 Swift. The 3rd generation of the swift has retained the overall silhouette of the original swift which was launched in 2005. The front fascia has a large grille, new LED headlights and LED taillights and LED daytime running lights. The rear end of the car looks sportier than ever. The new Swift also features 15-inch alloy wheels with 185/65 R15 tires.
Interior:
The cabin of the car is completely different. Swift 2018 gets a minimalistic dashboard, a new high-end steering wheel, and two-pod instrument cluster. The car feature list also includes touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Paddle-Shifters, and MirroLink much more. Maruti Suzuki also decreased the cabin space of the car and increased legroom and luggage space, overall 25% of the space is enlarged.
Discussing about more features, the Swift 2018 is outfitted with leather-wrapped steering wheel, reverse parking sensors, smart key along with push button, front fog, two tweeters, automatic climate control, rear defogger, rear wiper and washer, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors and adjustable rear seats headrest, even a boot lamp also.
Engine:
Maruti Suzuki uses the coveted 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel engine. The company has re-tuned the engine and the car also gets an auto gearbox like the 2017 Dzire in both petrol and diesel variant engines. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The lightweight and tuned engine will help in increasing the fuel mileage. Price
