Datsun is back in India after almost three decades, with its hatchback Datsun Go and MPV Datsun Go+ which have been unveiled at Auto Expo 2014. These cars would be manufactured in India under the Nissan-Renault jointly created production plant at Chennai. This MPV is expected to launch by the end of this ongoing year or in early 2015.
Price:
Though price is not confirmed yet but it is expected to come with a very affordable price range of 5.7-7.5 lakhs. Well, keep the fingers crossed for same.
Engine details:
It will be powered by the same engine options which are present at Go hatchback. This is 1.2 liter 3-cylinder petrol engine which develops the max power of 74bhp while peak torque of 104Nm. Though being a larger vehicle than hatchback Go, its max output might be increased by the launch. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Also, company might equip a diesel unit too in this MPV as per the demand of Indian car market and obviously to increase the competition.
Space & Dimension:
It is a seven seater car which is 3950mm long, 1600mm wide and 1400mm tall and also carries the wheelbase of 2450mm. Though, the exact details could only be revealed by the launch.
Interior & Exterior:
At outside, it looks trendier and stylish in comparison to its other same segment rivals like Nissan Evalia. At 12th Auto Expo, Datsun revealed it in Beige color which reflecting its beauty clearly. Though exact details and features list is not revealed yet but still we expect it to adorn with the entire requisite features which are being demanded now-a-days.

By unveiling these two models in hatchback and MPV category as well, company is trying to establish its network in India. The chances of the success of Go+ MPV are high coz the expected price range looks very affordable and within budget and car is looking trendy and powerful too. Though people in India will have to wait for some time for its launch here coz Datsun is planning to launch these cars first in Indonesia, Russia and South Africa and then in India.
