Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the third generation of Swift at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. It is believed that this car will be one of the biggest launches at this event. 3rd Gen Swift has a premium design as compared to the previous models and also comes in numerous variants which might confuse the buyers. Today, we are going to tell you about each of its variants:-
LXi/LDi
The base variant of the 3rd Gen Maruti Suzuki Swift will come with the impressive exterior feature which includes LED Rear Combination Lamp, LED High Mounted, Stop Lamp, Body Coloured Bumpers, and Steel wheels. Its interior includes Manual Air Conditioner with Heater, Front Dome Lamp, Remote Back Door Opener, Remote Fuel Lid Opener, Gear Shift Indicator, and Multi-Information Display.
In this variant, you will get safety features like Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD, Engine Immobiliser, Seat Belt Reminder and ISOFIX child seat mounts. It has 5-speed manual transmission.
VXi/VDi
This variant has all exterior and interior features of LXi/LDi variant. But, the additional exterior features include Full Wheel Covers, Side Turn Indicators on ORVMs, Body Coloured Outside Door Handles, and Body Coloured ORVMs.
It offers more option luxury in its interior as compared to the base variant as it includes Co-Driver Side Sunvisor with Vanity Mirror, Driver Side Sunvisor with Vanity Mirror, Remote Keyless Entry System, Central Door Locking, and Power Windows.
In this variant, you will find additional safety features like Security alarm system, Day And Night Adjustable IRVM, and Speed-sensitive automatic door lock. Buyers will also get a 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options.
Zxi/Zdi
This variant is the upgraded version of Vxi/VDi as it has all the exterior features except the Full Wheel Covers but offers Alloy wheels. Its interior has an Audio player with the tweeters, Engine Push Start-Stop Button with Smart Key, Adjustable Rear Seat Headrests, Automatic climate control, Rear defogger, and 60:40 split rear seat.
Reverse parking sensors, Front fog lamps, and pinch guard power window + Auto Up make Zxi/Zdi variant different from VXi/VDi variant as rest of the safety features are same. It offers 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options too.
Zxi+/Zdi+
Apart from having all the exterior features of Zxi/Zdi, this higher variant has LED Projector Headlamps, LED Daylight Running Lamps, and Precision Cut Alloy Wheels. Its interior features are almost same as Zxi/Zdi variant except Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility. It has reverse parking camera which is missing from all others variants. It comes only with 5-speed manual transmission.
