Toyota Etios Liva Special edition launched in India; starts at Rs. 5.67 lakh

With festive season is just around the corner, we expect array of special editions of their respective vehicles from various car makers. There are quite a few limited editions that has been launched in recent times like Tata launched special editions of Gen X Nano, Safari, Bolt and Zest while Volkswagen, Hyundai and Maruti too introduced special or limited editions of their vehicles.

However, several car makers are missing out of action and one of them was Toyota Kirloskar motor but not anymore. The car maker has launched Etios Liva Special edition for this festive season at a starting price of Rs. 5.67 lakhs for the petrol variant while diesel variant comes for Rs. 6.79 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The special edition features some cosmetic changes both inside and outside along with safety add-ons.

What’s different?

Toyota has managed to put in number of updates in the special edition, so let’s have a glance at it. Available in petrol and diesel engines, the special Liva edition comes with dual tone color shade including black ORVM (Outer rear view mirror), grille and B-C pillars. There is also a glossy black roof top, rear spoiler and new 15 inch ten spoke alloy wheels to add sporty element to the car.

The interiors boast of a bluetooth enabled audio system with USB and Aux-in support, wooden finish cabin and new fabric seat upholstery to add some freshness. Toyota has also enhanced the safety element of limited edition by equipping it with dual front SRS (Supplemental restraint system) airbags, front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiters.

Under the hood, things remain unchanged; it continues to get power from 1.2l petrol that develops 79bhp power and 104Nm of torque along with a 1.4 litre diesel mill churning out 67bhp power and 170Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come paired to a five speed manual gearbox.

To further enhance the package, Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 years, 100,000kms whichever comes first.
