After being teased last month, Ssang Yong has now unveiled the first official image of their Compact SUV ‘Tivoli’ codenamed X100 which is all set to make its debut in January 2015. As we all know Ssang Yong has named its sub compact crossover after a town near Rome.

Full reveal is scheduled in next month but Korean car maker has published few images of Tivoli on their social networking ‘Facebook’ page, it looks different from what we have seen a month ago. It looks a bit more advanced than Ssang Yong current design technology which will attract youth and it might wipe-off on the other models.

In a B-segment Crossover it will compete against Ford Eco sport, Nissan Terrano and upcoming Hyundai ix25. But in terms of price this compact SUV will at the price equivalent to Skoda Yeti. Tivoli carries design elements from XIV-Air and XIV-adventure concepts which were revealed at the 2014 Paris motor show.

According to the released images Ssang Yong’s compact SUV carries various good exterior and interior features.

Exterior features-

Bi-xenon headlamps with daytime running lights, beefed up fenders, roof rails, Rear view mirrors with integrated indicators, blackened A-B pillars, a lean black front grille with company’s logo, roof rails etc.

Interior features-

Revealed images includes pictures of cabin as well according to which Tivoli has Silver garnished A/C vents, red-black upholstery, flat bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, central console located touchscreen system with Map and automatic control support, instrument cluster with Speedometer, tachometer and Digital multi function display.

Apart from these features Tivoli will be offered with 7 airbags and reverse parking camera as well.

Under the hood Tivoli will get 4-cylinder 1.6L petrol and diesel engines based on Euro 6 emissions standards. The Ssang Yong is scheduled to go on sale in South Korea from January 2015 while its global sale will begin in mid 2015.
