The engine has enough grunt to churn out 115PS (113bhp) of max power and 160Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six speed manual gearbox. On the contrary, the current version of i20 produces 98bhp and 136Nm.
To take i20 N sport to next level, Hyundai has coupled this meaty version with four wheel electronic-four channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution) along with revised suspension system for sporty handling and firm ride ability. To add further sting, i20 N Sport gets stiffer springs, ventilated front disc brakes and discs at rear.
In terms of aesthetic change, the powerhouse gets new 17 inch alloy wheels, side skirts, N performance badge at front mudguard and boot lid along with a stainless steel free flow CAT back exhaust system for an aggressive styling.
It isn’t sure if Hyundai will launch N Sport i20 in India or not but taking into account the craze for VW Polo GT which suggests there is a market and lovers for hot hatchbacks in India.
