Auto Expo 2016: Toyota Innova Crysta

Think of a MPV (Multi purpose vehicle) and Toyota Innova immediately gains one’s attention. The Innova has been a huge hit and ruling the segment despite being a decade old product. Toyota launched new Innova globally on 23rd November last year which is already on sale in Indonesia and getting warm response from the buyers. Toyota took off the wraps over Innova during the 2016 Indian auto expo and named it as Innova Crysta for the Indian market. Now, bookings for the same have started for an amount of Rs. 40,000 across all major cities in the country.

To be available in three variants– G, V and Q, Innova Crysta is more stylish, powerful, feature rich and spacious than its predecessor. Current Innova is somehow criticized for its high price but with new Innova this won’t be the case as it comes with 98 percent localization levels which could result in low pricing. We expect it to be priced from Rs. 10 lakh to 17 lakh (ex-showroom).

It will be offered with 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed automatic transmission.

Innova Crysta is a complete transformed version from the ongoing model as it sports new bold grille, sweptback angular double barrel headlamps with LED DRL strip, round fog lamps with integrated turn indicators while side remain similar except for the huge wheel arches and angular style for the third row. The revised rear bumper, seven shaped Tail lamps further graces the new version of India’s best MPV.

The King of MPV will be offered in dual tone color shade with revised dashboard and slew of new features such as automatic climate control, new touchscreen infotainment with Aux-in, USB support, new steering wheel with mounted controls, all door power windows, keyless entry to name a few.
