Toyota to launch Innova Crysta Touring Sport edition in India next month

The Japanese carmaker Toyota might launch a special edition of Innova Crysta in India next month. Dubbed as ‘Touring sport’, it will be based on top end trim of Innova Crysta and a similar variant is on sale in the Indonesian market. The new “Touring Sport” will be offered in 6-seater configuration with captain seats for the second row. It will be available exclusively in wine red paint scheme.

The limited edition will sport black plastic cladding on front-rear bumpers, flared wheel arches, side skirts and generous amount chrome embellishment on the front grille, bumpers, ORVMs, roof spoiler, exhaust pipe and rear windscreen. The Touring sport will get a new 17-inch gun metal finish alloy wheels.

For features, it is expected to adorn a 4.2 inch TFT MID, exclusive floor mats, automatic climate control, premium leather upholstery and much more. For safety, it is likely to pack with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking camera and much more.

Under the hood, things will remain unchanged so expect the same 2.7l petrol and a 2.8l diesel engine. Transmission options would include a five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission. Recently, the company has announced that Innova Crysta has crossed 67,500 sales mark in India and this vary new variant will further boost its sales in the country.
