Tata’s entry level hatchback Tiago has been the bestselling car for the carmaker since its launch in April 2016. Now, Tiago has crossed one lakh bookings mark in India courtesy Tata’s new IMPACT design philosophy and value for buck package. Moreover, the homegrown carmaker has already delivered more than 65,000 units. The top spec XZ variant has attracted the most number of buyers while recently launched AMT variant also grabbed decent attention.
Available in six variants, Tiago comes with some handful features and has more than 20 utility spaces. Under the hood, it is packed with 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine that churns out 69bhp@4000rpm and 140Nm of torque@1800-3000rpm.
The petrol counterpart comes with an 83.8bhp power@6000rpm and 114Nm of torque@3500rpm. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox along with AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). It also comes with Multi-drive modes- City and Eco.
