While everyone is busy in praising The Zest, Tata is planning to amaze people with the Facelift version of Its SUV Tata safari Strome; recently it has been spotted testing on Indian roads. Tata safari Strome was launched in 2012, but it was not able to magnetize lots of buyers. With the launch of its facelift, it might be company’s new strategy to reinforce their share in SUV segment.
What’s New-?
- Engine- 2012 Strome 2.2L 16V VVT VariCOR engine produces 138.5BHP power and 320nm Torque, But New Safari Strome might produces more power around 148BHP with others specification of engine will remain same. Transmission will also remain same with 5 Speed manual supporting all Wheel drive. Automatic transmission may be on the cards but we will wait for it till launch.
- Exterior- Front and Rear will undergo some changes while side profile of the will remain same.Front fascia gets new front grille with refreshed bumper and same for the rear side as well.
- Interiors- Better finish dashboard, New Harman Kardon music system, improved fabric upholstery and steering mounted controls are few of the features which are going to be enhance Storme’s inner beauty. Third row front facing seats may get replace with captain seats.
- Other Features- Features like cruise control, automatic air control, 4×4 drive system, automatic headlamps and new tail lamps one can except from New Safari Strome.
We can except New Safari will come under the price bracket of 13 lakh which is slight more than its upcoming rival new Mahindra Scorpio.
