We have been hearing a lot about Tata’s new campaign called #wetheNanogen which was launched to take enfold the new variant of Tata Nano called the GenX Nano. Tata motors have released the first images of its upcoming GenX Nano called as GenX Nano easy shift on the official page on the social networking site and will have its launch by next month. According to Tata Motors “The next generation is ready to welcome you with a smile”.
One of the biggest changes that new GenX Nano has is that it comes with AMT transmission with 21.9 KMPL certified mileage and the image shows that the new Nano gets some cosmetic changes like new bumper with honeycomb “infinity grille”, smiley air dam with integrated round fog lamps.
Other changes include smoked effect on new headlamp units, new full wheel covers, thick black line on bonnet with Tata’s logo. Rear side now has an openable boot with 110 liter of luggage capacity, new bumper and new windscreen. The company has added a new Sangria red color body paint option to GenX Nano twist.
The changes inside the cabin are yet to be fully disclosed but it gets a new three spoke steering wheel, tweaked interiors and updated audio system.
Under the hood GenX Nano uses the same 624cc petrol engine of current model that makes 38PS of power and 51Nm of peak torque but now will have an AMT gearbox as well. The XE, XM and XT variants will come with a 4-speed manual gearbox while AMT XM and XT is expected to get AMT transmission. The AMT variants will return 21.4KMPL mileage while manual version of the car returns 25.4 KMPL of mileage.
The new GenX Nano will be available in seven body paint options– Damson Purple, Royal Gold, Dazzle blue, Sangria Red (new), pearl white, Meteor Silver and Persian Rose.
