Tata Bolt was launched on 22nd January 2015 with lots of expectations and good marketing strategy and as a result of it Bolt is getting some good numbers for the home-grown manufacture Tata. Same craze was seen last year when Tata launched Zest sedan with an aggressive price, good looks and an AMT gearbox. We spoke to some Tata dealers and they said that they have received very warm response from the buyers whether it’s for bookings or enquiries.
According to some dealers, it’s the Revotron engine which creating most of the Buzz and turning out to be more popular than the diesel one. Among the Revotron it’s the XMS variant in both petrol and diesel has created most of the buzz. Zest had the same story as well but an AMT gearbox had the most amount of booking but Bolt is only available with manual gearbox.
In recent times the demand of petrol Zest is on the rise and we hope Bolt will follow the same trend soon. The reason behind high demand for XMS variant would be the features like ABS and two airbags as standard though XMS variant misses out on some features as compared to top XT variant Such as projector headlamps, automatic climate control, Harman touchscreen system, 15 inch alloy wheels etc.
XT variant is equipped with more comfort and safety features than the XE variant but still XMS is gathering more bookings and enquiries because people might finding it more value for money variant than the XT.
This overwhelming response for Bolt and Zest is certainly is good news for Tata as they want to regain the lost spot they lost half a decade ago. Bolt and Zest are based on Tata’s new HORIZONEXT technology with an affordable price range.
