The German auto giant, Porsche has introduced a latest model in Panamera range in India christened as Diesel edition. The new model is available at a price tag of Rs. 1.04 crore (ex-showroom Maharashtra) at all the Porsche dealerships across the country. It is first model to be rolled out since Mr. Pavan Shetty has been appointed as Director of Porsche India.
The vehicle carries 3.0l V6 diesel engine that produces max power of 250bhp@3800rpm and 550Nm@1750rpm of high torque, matched to 7-speed automatic transmission. The supercar also gets AWD, Paddle shifters and Porsche Adaptive Air Suspension with (PASM) Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard.
The new four-door sports special edition comes with a wide range of features such as black-Luxor beige leather upholstery for seats with Porsche embedded on the headrests, for zone HVAC, 7 inch touchscreen system with satellite navigation, bluetooth telephony along with intelligent audio system housing 585 watts 14 speaker boss surround system for more enjoyable experience.
It is not finished yet as it also sports electric sunroof with tilt and slide functionality, sporty steering wheel with audio controls, front and rear-park assist, power steering plus, soft close doors and range of comfort levels for front and rear passengers.
In terms of design, it features high shiny black strips on the door handles and side windows, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS (Porsche dynamic light system), Panamera turbo II design inspired 19 inch alloy wheels with colored Porsche crest and wheel hub covers. It also flaunts optional Porsche entry and drive aimed at attracting enthusiasts and providing maximum comfort to the driver as well as all the passengers.
