Nissan India has launched the special edition of Terrano SUV christened as “Groove Special edition” to add more charm to Terrano SUV and it is priced at Rs. 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The special edition will offer the benefits of worth Rs. 30,000 at zero cost and would be offered in XL (O) trim.

Apart from launching the limited edition company has also announced new advertising campaign featuring Famous Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The new Groove Special would be limited only to limited 250 units.

The overall design remains same but it gets few changes such as matte black roof top, chrome accents around the fog lights, tail gate and tail lights to give it refreshing look. On the inside Terrano Groove gets some dynamic gadgetry such as LED scuff plates on the doors, branded fabric floor mats, ambient lighting and most prominent them of all is the high end audio system with Rockford Fosgate speakers.

Commenting on Nissan’s latest limited edition, Guillaume Sicard, PresidentNissan India Operations said, “The Terrano has established itself as a stylish premium compact SUV, which is equally at home in the outdoors as it is in the urban cityscape. With the Groove edition, we want to reach out to individuals who like their cars to reflect their dynamic lifestyle. We are confident that the new additions will make the Terrano even more appealing to them.” The Terrano Groove Edition comes loaded with a high-end audio system aided by Rockford Fosgate speakers, ambient lighting, branded fabric mats and LED scuff plates on the doors. The Japanese automaker describes it as a product for “lively, youthful and lifestyle-conscious customers”.

The Groove limited edition will be powered with same 1.5L K9K diesel engine that powers the other variants and generates 85PS power and 200Nm of peak torque with the claimed mileage of 20.45 Kmpl. Terrano SUV is Nissan bestselling car in India with the sales around 1500 units a month and this special edition might further boost the sales chart.

Speaking on the association, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd added, “With the Groove edition, we wish to target younger customers and opted for an energetic campaign around contemporary music and dance. Sushant Singh Rajput was an obvious choice as his young, athletic and dynamic personality perfectly complements the Terrano while his exceptional dancing skills make him perfect for grooving alongside the car”. Nissan Terrano Groove Edition also flaunts chrome highlighting at the fog lamps, tail lamps and tailgate.
