Nissan India has launched yet another Version of its MPV ‘Evalia’ as a special edition with some cosmetic changes though engine specifications remain same. Nissan has launched the special edition silently with no grand event and with almost no advertisement campaign. Facelift has become a trend nowadays as market is witnessing it at regular intervals. Let’s see what this new edition of Evalia has special in it.
Nissan launched special edition of Evalia at Rs. 11, 61,930 ex showroom Delhi, Nissan placed this special edition (SV) over the top variant of Nissan Evalia XV (O).
Evalia Special edition gets no mechanical changes in it, Special Edition Evalia will continue to be offered in the same tried and tested 1.5 liter 4-cyl diesel engine like its predecessor which develops 85bhp max [email protected] and peak torque of [email protected] supporting front wheel drive system.
This engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and the claimed mileage figure of Evalia is 19.3km/l. Nissan Evalia reaches 0-100km mark in 17 seconds with the top speed of 140-150 km/hr.
Interior & Exterior:
Inside the cabin, Evalia new edition retains all the features of top variant of Evalia XV(O) like 2 DIN audio system with USB connectivity, roof mounted A/C vents for 2nd and 3rd row seats, anti glare IRVM, captain seat in the middle row, rear wiper and defogger, front row assist grip and glove box lid. Apart from these features Evalia has some other features like faux-wood finish on dashboard and center console, front power windows, keyless entry, Central console with multifunction display with rear camera assistance and map lamps for 3rd row.
The Outer appearance of special edition of Evalia is now designed with new redesigned front bumper and chromic front grille with Nissan logo at the centre and stylish fog lamps. Side profile gets only change in the form of 10 spoke alloy wheels and rear also gets one change with new roof spoiler.
Nissan Evalia is available in six exciting colors- Brick Red, Titanium Grey, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, Aqua Green and Pearl White.
Safety features are also same in this special edition of Evalia with dual front airbags and passenger airbags, brake assistance, ABS, EBD, immobilizer with intelligent key, door ajar warning and front fog lamps.
Facelift word has become most abused nowadays as car manufacturer launch their product as a facelift with just minor changes Nissan also done the same. We were expecting more changes in Evalia but we get some limited ones, we hope this launch would help Nissan to hike its sales as the segment’s competition is very tuff with cars like Honda Mobilio and Maruti Ertiga.
